Just Do it!

If you stick to this, your life will drastically change in many positive ways. It will take you to places and where you would have never reached otherwise.
If there is anything common among all humans, I think we all at the end want to be just happy. We do the things we do willingly thinking that it will generate a ‘happy’ result. If you ask someone what her/his goal is, what ever that person says; be it ‘I want to win a Grammy’, or ‘I want to win an Olympic gold’, or ‘I want to raise two children’; their actual goal is happiness.
A lot of the times what stops us from achieving happiness is we limiting our selves from achieving happiness. You are the only reason stopping from achieving what ever you want to achieve because you are not doing what ever you have to do.
Now here is a historical fact. Unlike other brands who get taglines form ‘successful’ people, Nike got their’s from a criminal. Gary Mark Gilmore was an American who was a notorious murderous criminal in the 70′s. When asked by the firing squad if he has any last words, "Let's do it" was Gilmore’s last words . Wieden+Kennedy agency who proposed ‘Just Do It’ slogan got the inspiration from Gilmore’s quote. Nike co-founder Phil Knight, who was skeptical about the need for advertising, initially rejected the idea. Phil Knight first said, 'We don't need that shit'," Co founder of the advertising agency Dan Wieden then said “Just trust me on this one.” Nike trust Wieden and just did it. The rest is history. "Just Do It" campaign allowed Nike to further increase its share of the North American domestic sport-shoe business from 18% to 43%, (from $877 million to $9.2 billion in worldwide sales) from 1988 to 1998, and Campaign Magazine described it as "arguably the best tagline of the 20th century,".
What ever thought that comes to your mind stating the impossibilities, limitations and all lame excuses like ‘I don’t have the time’, ‘I don’t have the money’, ‘Its against society’s norms’ is all bull crap. The only difference between you and the guy who stole your dream life partner is she/he just went and asked for it or did it. The only difference between you and Steve Jobs is he believed it was possible and he just did what ever he had to do. The only difference between you and Oprah Winfrey is she believed and just did what she had to do.
You don’t pursue happiness by not doing anything. You just do it.

HUSTLER OR ENTREPRENEUR?

Earlier today, I asked friends on my Whatsapp time-line the difference between a Hustler and an Entrepreneur. Of course, there was a plethora of answers as different people gave very distinct meanings in response. What surprised me the most was that no two people gave the same answer. Everyone had a distinct point of view.
However, for the sake of clarity and simplicity I decided to curate most of the responses as well as my personal observations into an article.
First and foremost, a Hustler is someone who "make strenuous efforts to obtain" money or profit from different areas or businesses engagements. An entrepreneur however is one who starts a business (or businesses), manages it to produce tangible value and make profit from it.
You see, it's easy to assume there's not much difference between the two personalities but there are.
While Kemi, a LASU Undergraduate perceives the difference in the freedom an Entrepreneur enjoys compared to a Hustler, Success, a Bl…

HOME

When we think of Home, a beautiful family living in a peaceful apartment comes to mind. We often picture a happy couple with some amazing kids. While many of us seem to have an idea of what a home is, very few truly understand and experience the true essence of a 'Home'.
Many unconsciously walk around the world searching for a 'HOME'
AHome, I believe, is where you're shown true love and care. Home is that 'place' where you're Accepted and Loved for who you are. Home is where your heart finds rest and peace. Where you belong, where you're treasured and treated like a million bucks!  Home is where your Strengths are emphasised over your Weaknesses and your Goodness before your Faults.  Home is where you find your true and best friends. Where you find strength in times of weakness, courage when fear comes knocking, help in times of need and motivation when you're discouraged.  It's therefore not surprising that some find 'home' in the …
